Why Sunset Beach Chooses Us

Four Reasons Sunset Beach Families Keep Coming Back

Our patient list grew the old-fashioned way — one happy referral at a time.

01

Your Neighborhood Dentist, Just Down PCH

Sunset Beach is a small, tight-knit beach community — and that's exactly the kind of practice Dr. Tran runs. Personal, warm, no corporate vibe. A 10-15 minute drive and you're here.

02

Coastal Lifestyle, Active Smiles

From surfers who need custom sport guards to families who want picture-perfect smiles for the beach, Sunset Beach patients come to us for care that fits their lifestyle.

03

Dr. Tran Has Watched Sunset Beach Families Grow

Some of our earliest Sunset Beach patients brought toddlers who are now teenagers getting Invisalign. That continuity — knowing your history, your family, your concerns — is something a chain office can't offer.

04

No-Pressure Honesty, Every Visit

Dr. Tran will tell you if a filling can wait six months. He'll explain why an implant makes more sense than a bridge. Sunset Beach patients value straight answers — and that's what they get.

Community Connection

Why Does a Small Beach Town Trust a Huntington Beach Dentist?

Sunset Beach is one of the smallest beach communities in Orange County — about 1,000 residents along a narrow strip of PCH between Seal Beach and Bolsa Chica. There's no local dentist in Sunset Beach itself, so residents have always driven to neighboring cities for dental care. Peninsula Dentistry sits just 10-15 minutes south on PCH, making it one of the closest and most convenient options.

Patients from Anderson Street and Peter's Landing have been coming here for years. In a community this small, word travels fast — and Dr. Tran's reputation for honest, personal care is what keeps bringing Sunset Beach families through our door. When your neighbor recommends their dentist by name, not by Google ad, that says something about the relationship.

How far is Peninsula Dentistry from Sunset Beach?
We're about 10 to 15 minutes south down PCH. Our office sits in the Peninsula Marketplace at 19051 Goldenwest St, Suite 108, right on the corner of Goldenwest and Garfield next to Ralph's supermarket. From Anderson Street in Sunset Beach, just hop on PCH heading south and turn left on Goldenwest — quick and easy.
Are you accepting new patients from Sunset Beach?
Yes — and since Sunset Beach is such a small community (about 1,000 residents), many of your neighbors may already be in our waiting room. New patients get a thorough first visit: digital X-rays, a comprehensive oral evaluation, and a one-on-one review with Dr. Tran where he walks you through every finding personally. No rushed exams, no hand-offs to associates. Call (714) 374-8800 or book online to get on the schedule.
Do you accept PPO dental insurance for Sunset Beach patients?
Yes — we accept most major PPO plans including Delta Dental, Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, Guardian, and United Concordia. We verify your benefits before your visit so there are no surprises at checkout. For uninsured Sunset Beach patients, we offer in-house payment plans and CareCredit financing with flexible monthly options so cost never stands between you and the care you need. Visit our insurance & payment page for the complete list of accepted plans and financing details.
Do you offer emergency dental care for Sunset Beach residents?
Yes — Sunset Beach is only 10-15 minutes from our office, so we can see you quickly when it counts. We handle knocked-out teeth, cracked teeth from beach sports, severe toothaches, dental abscesses, and lost fillings or crowns. We reserve same-day slots for emergencies, so call (714) 374-8800 and tell the front desk it's urgent. After hours, text the same number and we'll get back to you as fast as we can. See our emergency dental page for what to do while you're on the way.
What dental services do you offer Sunset Beach patients?
Everything from routine cleanings and fillings to dental implants, clear aligners (Invisalign), veneers, crowns, root canals, wisdom teeth extraction, and full-mouth reconstruction. Dr. Tran is comfortable handling the full spectrum — that's one of the things patients from Sunset Beach appreciate most.
Is it worth driving from Sunset Beach to see Dr. Tran?
Our Sunset Beach patients think so — many have been coming for years. It's a scenic 10-15 minute ride down PCH, and you get a dentist who knows your name, explains everything honestly, and handles almost every procedure in-house. No referrals, no runaround. That kind of continuity is hard to find.
